Live at Buff Hall

“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t jump on my head…”

06
The Buff Hall gig is a real gem. It was one of the earliest gatherings of the East Coast “tribes”: Minor Threat (DC), SS Decontrol (Boston), Agnostic Front (NYC), Flag of Democracy + Crib Death (Philly) were all on the bill. Crazy show with Ian MacKaye getting hit by a car, SS Decontrol’s van getting smashed – and, of course, security for the show being provided by the Ghetto Riders.

Blind Approach interview by Open Your Eyes

The band started with Matt Henderson (Agnostic Front, Madball) and his friend Chip in St. Paul, MN. They released two great 7 inches (“Restless Nights” and “New Age”) and it’s easy to see why Agnostic Front picked him up. Blind Approach played a lot of shows, and eventually they became the Minneapolis hardcore band at one point so if they were not headlining a show they were opening for every band that came through. In 1987/88 Blind Approach played a few times with the Cro-Mags, Youth Of Today, and did a Midwest stretch with WarZone.

Hashtag Hardcore fanzine issue 7

The new issue of #Hardcore is out now! I don’t know the reason why the Pressure Pact sheep is attacking the Wrong Side pig and the Blind To Faith bull, but this artwork is awesome.

“Hello, just to inform you that a new issue of Hashtag Hardcore fanzine is out. You can order one by paypalling 5 euro (Netherlands) or 7 euro (anywhere else) to hashtaghardcore(at)gmail.com. Don’t forget to mention your address.

Distros who want to carry the new issue, get in touch for wholesale and shipping options.

Killing Time interview by Not For The Weak fanzine

Brightside record rips from start to finish. Anthony Comunale’s vocal range is impressive and their songs are heavy as fuck, include some seriously awesome riffs. RIP Rich McLoughlin of Breakdown/Raw Deal/Killing Time. NYHC legend.

This Killing Time interview is originally published in Not For The Weak fanzine (amazingly hilarious ‘zine out of New Jersey), I hope you will find it interesting! Please click images to view full size.

Anyways, AT02 comes in hot with a whopping 64 pages of interviews, full spread photos, illustrations, games, and a bunch of other stuff that we think people are supposed to find entertaining. Interviews with Codey from Mil-Spec, Emmett and Brandon from Wild Side, Wolf from End Game and the entirety of Chain Whip tortures their victims with 14 lashes-a-piece. We dig deep into the Posi Numbers 2004 DVD and make sure no one is safe. Special thank you to Kyle Scott for the beautiful illustration of Riley Gale on the inside cover.

Each order comes with an Absolute Truth sticker, a copy of the Dusty Digest AT1.5 one-pager and copies of Do You Know Hardcore #2, #2.5 and #3 one-pagers. Damn!”

Absolute Truth issue 1.5

“Double sided, one 8.5″x11″ page zine for the Dusty Digest mail only zine swap. Features interviews with the elusive Tom Pimlott, Revelation’s Adam Lentz, an extremely important list of hardcore related things Michael Fairley has at his office for some reason and a cut out Absolute Truth Paper Toy Mosher if you want to destroy the whole page. I don’t think this hit anyone’s favourite list so you may as well make some use out of the sheet.”
